Who operates this site

ScritchyScratchy.cc is an independent game site with a playable browser demo and supporting player pages. It is not operated by Lunch Money Games, Funday Games, Valve, Steam, itch.io, Apple, Google, or any other store or platform referenced on the site. Privacy questions can be sent to the contact address at the end of this policy.

Server and security data

When a page or API route is requested, the hosting and security provider may process the IP address, request URL, date and time, browser and device information, referring page, approximate region, and security or error signals. This data is used to deliver pages, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain service reliability. Analytics and your choice

Google Analytics is disabled by default. Its script loads only after a visitor selects “Allow analytics” in the privacy controls on this site. When allowed, Google Analytics may process page URLs, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referrer, interactions, cookies, and online identifiers to measure site use. Advertising signals and ad personalization signals are disabled in the site configuration.

Visitors can choose “Essential only” or change the stored choice below. Essential site features continue to work without Google Analytics. Read the Google Privacy Policy and Google's explanation of how it uses information from partner sites.

Advertising and AdSense status

This site does not currently serve Google AdSense ads or other third-party advertising. No advertising tag is loaded in the current production build, and the analytics choice above does not grant advertising consent. If advertising is introduced, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, browser information, and other identifiers to measure or personalize ads based on visits to this site or other sites. The site will update this policy and its consent flow before those tags are enabled.

Google's advertising cookies are described in the AdSense cookie documentation. Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings orYourAdChoices. Before serving personalized ads to users in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the site will enable a Google-certified consent management platform that integrates with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, as described in Google's publisher consent requirements.

Comments

If a visitor submits a comment, the site processes the chosen display name, comment text, a random browser-generated commenter key, submission time, and user-agent string. The key supports basic rate limiting and abuse review; it is not intended to reveal a real identity. New comments are held for moderation and are not public until approved. Visible comments show the display name, text, and date.

Embedded game content

The Scritchy Scratchy browser demo is embedded on the home page from itch.io. The site keeps the game covered until the visitor presses Play Now, but the embedded frame may still connect as it loads. That connection may send the IP address, browser information, referrer, cookies, and game-related storage to itch.io under its own policy. See the itch.io Privacy Policy.

Data sharing and retention

Data is shared only with service providers needed for hosting, security, consented analytics, embedded content, and comment storage, or when required by law. Comment and security records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for publication, moderation, abuse prevention, and legal obligations. Visitors may request correction or deletion of a comment by providing the page URL, display name, and enough detail to identify the submission.

Children

This site is a general-audience game site and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly use personalized advertising to target children. A parent or guardian can contact the site to request review or removal of information submitted by a child.
