Who operates this site

ScritchyScratchy.cc is an independent editorial guide and browser-demo portal. It is not operated by Lunch Money Games, Funday Games, Valve, Steam, itch.io, Apple, Google, or any other store or platform referenced on the site. Privacy questions can be sent to the contact address at the end of this policy.

Server and security data

When a page or API route is requested, the hosting and security provider may process the IP address, request URL, date and time, browser and device information, referring page, approximate region, and security or error signals. This data is used to deliver pages, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain service reliability. Analytics and your choice

Google Analytics is disabled by default. Its script loads only after a visitor selects “Allow analytics” in the privacy controls on this site. When allowed, Google Analytics may process page URLs, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referrer, interactions, cookies, and online identifiers to measure site use. Advertising signals and ad personalization signals are disabled in the site configuration.

Visitors can choose “Essential only” or change the stored choice below. Essential site features continue to work without Google Analytics. Read the Google Privacy Policy and Google's explanation of how it uses information from partner sites.

Comments

If a visitor submits a comment, the site processes the chosen display name, comment text, a random browser-generated commenter key, submission time, and user-agent string. The key supports basic rate limiting and abuse review; it is not intended to reveal a real identity. New comments are held for moderation and are not public until approved. Visible comments show the display name, text, and date.

Embedded game content

The Scritchy Scratchy browser demo is loaded from itch.io only after the visitor presses Play Now. Loading it connects the browser to itch.io, which may receive the IP address, browser information, referrer, cookies, and game-related storage under its own policy. See the itch.io Privacy Policy.

Advertising and Google advertising cookies

Third-party advertising scripts are currently disabled while the site is being reviewed. If advertising is enabled later, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before ads are served. Third-party vendors, including Google, may then place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses, or other online identifiers to serve and measure ads. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies based on visits to this and other sites.

Visitors can control personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings and may use AboutAds opt-out choices where available. Before Google advertising is enabled for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the site will use a Google-certified consent management platform where required.

Data sharing and retention

Data is shared only with service providers needed for hosting, security, consented analytics, embedded content, and comment storage, or when required by law. Comment and security records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for publication, moderation, abuse prevention, and legal obligations. Visitors may request correction or deletion of a comment by providing the page URL, display name, and enough detail to identify the submission.

Children

This site is a general-audience game guide and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly use personalized advertising to target children. A parent or guardian can contact the site to request review or removal of information submitted by a child.
