What is Scritchy Scratchy?
Scritchy Scratchy is a single-player scratch-card incremental game developed by Lunch Money Games and published by Funday Games. The full PC version launched on Steam on March 18, 2026. Official listings also provide a browser demo, downloadable builds, and mobile store versions.
The central idea is simple: buy fictional scratch-off tickets, reveal their symbols, collect winning results, absorb losing results, and reinvest the balance. Repetition opens stronger tickets, upgrades, automation gadgets, permanent Prestige progression, achievements, and late-game routes.
Although Scritchy Scratchy uses gambling imagery, odds, jackpots, and bankruptcy as game mechanics, it does not offer real-money betting or cash prizes. The player manages an in-game economy and progression systems rather than depositing money into a gambling service.

Tickets, catalogues, odds, and payouts
Scritchy Scratchy tickets are arranged into catalogues and use different reveal rules. A ticket can ask for matching symbols, include positive and negative values, reward a Jackpot, or expose a result that changes the direction of the run. The currently displayed ticket panel is the best source for its active numbers.
Symbol chance is not the same as expected profit. Read the chance and associated payout together, include the purchase price, and consider whether a losing outcome can damage the remaining balance. Scratch difficulty also matters because a profitable manual ticket may become inefficient when bought in large stacks.

How Scritchy Scratchy upgrades work
Regular upgrades improve the current run. The official interface shows categories such as scratch luck, scratch size, and stronger coins, but available upgrades and prices depend on progress. Judge each purchase by the bottleneck it removes and the time it has to repay its cost.
Luck affects outcomes, scratching improvements reduce manual effort, and ticket-specific upgrades can strengthen a chosen route. None is automatically first in every Scritchy Scratchy run. Early income stability is usually more valuable than an expensive improvement that cannot earn back its cost before the next reset.
Scritchy Scratchy gadgets and automation
Scratch Bot is the automation anchor, but automated scratching is only one part of the workflow. Fan and Sticky Mat manage movement and table state, Mundo can interact with results, Autobuyer supports refills, Spellbook adds magic, Egg Timer changes gadget timing, and Machine is connected to the Final Chance route.
Automation should make a stable route repeatable. If a bot empties the balance faster than the tickets return value, more speed makes the problem worse. Prestige and Jack Points
Prestige resets temporary progress and awards Jack Points for permanent upgrades. Use it when the next permanent purchase improves a repeated part of the route more than another local upgrade would improve the current run. The button being available is not enough by itself.
Before resetting Scritchy Scratchy, finish any achievement or Final Chance setup that would be expensive to rebuild, open the permanent tree, and identify the node you intend to buy. Final Chance and Scritchy Scratchy endings
Final Chance is a late-run ticket and decision point connected to the Machine, achievements, and endings. It should be prepared after the ordinary economy works, not treated as another early ticket. Read the current claim and ending prompts before allowing automation to resolve an important state.

Achievements, tokens, and the Night Market
Steam currently lists 34 Scritchy Scratchy achievements. They cover natural progression, repeated deaths, Jackpot outcomes, Day Job, gadget conditions, Prestige, Final Chance, speedrunning, and cosmetic collection. Focused cleanup runs are safer than forcing every unusual condition into one strong save.
Official update notes say achievements earn tokens that can be claimed through the badge collection and spent at the Night Market to customize gadgets. Patch 1.1 added 12 cosmetics. Scritchy Scratchy demo versus full game
The browser build on the official itch.io page is a demo. It is useful for learning the physical scratching loop and deciding whether the incremental structure appeals to you, but it should not be used as evidence that every full-release ticket, achievement, ending, or balance value is available in the browser.
Use official stores for the complete version. Steam lists the PC game and demo; itch.io offers browser and downloadable options; official mobile listings cover iOS and Android. Day Job
The opening work activity and the subject of several achievement conditions. It provides a non-ticket path inside the game economy.
Jackpot and Super Jackpot
High-value outcomes tied to tickets and achievements. Official update notes say a Super Jackpot can add money and Jack Points.
Scratch Bot
The main auto-scratching gadget. It automates revealing tickets but does not make an unprofitable ticket route safe by itself.
Jack Points
Permanent-progression currency associated with Prestige and parts of the Jackpot system. Spend it on upgrades that improve later runs.
